Welcome to Asian Hospital! This pre-start date guidelines which will inform you the step by step activities you need to accomplish as you prepare for your upcoming start date at AHMC!

Asian Hospital's CORE Program consists four (4) modules which are designed to provide AHMC's newly hired employees with the information and the introduction to the workplace environment.  It allows the employees to be guided with the basic policies and procedures of the hospital. It serves as the induction of the new employees to blend and adapt with Asian Hospital's Mission, Vision and Core Values.

This course will promote work-life balance and a healthy lifestyle that will enable employees to work effectively and efficiently.

The workshop is designed to help participants cope with stress and will illustrate that stress can be managed through different techniques and by "Keeping it NATURAL"


Hospitals and maternity units set a powerful example for new mothers. The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative ( BFHI ), launched in 1991, is an effort by UNICEF and the World Health Organization to ensure that all maternities, whether free standing or in a hospital, become centers of breastfeeding support. This module aims to reinforce and increase the awareness of AHMC stakeholders of this initiative as a Mother Baby Friendly Hospital.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a basic life support training course that aims to provide the participants with lifesaving skills in response to victim's of cardiac arrest. 

This online course is generally intended for Asian Hospital and Medical Center employees as aligned with the existing hospital policies on patient safety and Joint Commission International Standards (JCI). 

The CPR training module is  following the 2015 AHA BLS Guidelines.

The Basic Competency for Allied Health is an e-learning module that aims to provide the allied health clinical staff with the basic foundation, knowledge, skills and attitude enabling them to deliver safe and quality health care to all clients of Asian Hospital and Medical Center. This is part of the competency development program prior to the deployment of newly hired allied clinical staff to their respective unit assignments.


A message announced over a hospital’s public address system warning the staff of
(1) A fire occurring in the facility, indicating that emergency measures should be taken

(2) Chemical Spill safety protocol

(3) Evacuation

(4) Disaster

Pulmonary Basics is a learning module designed to teach AHMC stakeholders with the fundamentals in caring for patients requiring diagnostic and therapeutic lung interventions.

Process and Guidelines for Emergency Shutdown Procedures involving the Tomotherapy Machine

Home Workouts provides daily workout routines for all your main muscle groups. In just a few minutes a day, you can keep fitness at home without having to go to the gym. 

Yoga teaches that controlling your breathing can help you control your body and quiet your mind.  Doing a few simple yoga moves can help relieve tension and you can do it from your chair!

This is an 8 hour blended training workshop that will provide guidelines to the Ancillary/ Asian Cancer Institute (ACI), Asian Cardiovascular Institute (ACVI), Asian Brain Institute (ABI) Staff, identified as Unit-Specific Trainer/Preceptor (USTP), in training newly hired staff or newly transferred staff from other units. This also aims to instill appropriate behaviors expected from a preceptor that will further promote a favorable learning environment for the novice staff belonging to the AHMC Ancillary, ACI, ACVI, ABI Group, in each of their respective units of assignment. This course is designed for clinical preceptors.

This program aims to address Mental Health issues has been one of the major concerns affecting our staff. The rise of emotional, psychological ,  and behavioral issues brought about by the current health crisis has been detrimental to our normal state of well-being.
